deBlur is an annual photo contest sponsored by the Cebu Doctors' University Alumni Association (CDUAA) in cooperation with Cebu Doctors' University (CDU) during the CDU Week celebration. This is a non-profit activity which aims to deliver to all alumni across the globe a vivid reflection of CDU in one of the major events of the academic year – The Cebu Doctors' University Week. Majority of the alumni may have no clear picture of CDU now and so through the captured images, CDUAA hopes to illustrate the best of CDU in Academics, Arts, Culture, and Sports, and inspire the alumni to remain connected and get involved. 

General Guidelines

• The contest is open to bona fide students of CDU, employees of CDU and Cebudoc Group of Hospitals (including Resident MDs & Consultant MDs), and all CDU alumni whether amateur or professional photographers.
• There will be two (2) contest categories:

A.     CDU Category  

Students & CDU Employees

1. Alumni participants must have a valid lifetime Alumni I.D.
2. Employee of CDU and Cebudoc Group of Hospitals must present a valid employee ID.
3. Student participants must present a validated School I.D. for 1^st Semester, Academic Year 2012 – 2013.
4. Registration will be at CDU Alumni Office, #1 Dr. P.V. Larrazabal, Jr. Ave., North Reclamation, Mandaue City. Deadline of registration will be on August 18, 2012, 4:30 P.M.
5. There should be a minimum of five (5) participants per category who can submit at least one (1) entry to have a contest. Any category not reaching the minimum number of contestants will automatically be declared as “NO Contest”.
6. The participant may use either Digital or Film camera.
7. Officers and Board Members of the CDUAA are NOT eligible to join the contest.
8. A maximum of seven (7) entries may be submitted per contestant. All photos must be taken throughout the duration of 2012 CDU Week Celebration, starting from the University Run until the championship games of Basketball & Volleyball.
9. All Entries will be judged according to:

• Artistic composition          40%
• Originality                       25%
• Theme adherence            20%
• Technical quality              15%
