Last December 3, we
held our annual pasko sa barangay
at Kauswagan in Talamban. As
our adopted community it is also
befitting for us to share the blessings
we all received to our less fortunate
brothers and sisters.

It was a joyous affair
and the spirit of Christmas and
merriment was really felt by all. We,
the Cebu Doctors’ University Alumni Association CDUAA in partner with
the CDU Community Outreach Services held a gift giving program among
the residents of Kauswagan.

It was attended by various departments aswell as their respective
Department heads. Also present was the University main figures namely
Dr. Potenciano Larrazabal Jr., Dr Enrico Gruet and Engr. Oscar Tuason
repectively as well as the various deans of the different colleges of the
school.

The residents didn’t disappoint us because they prepared a
program to liven up the atmosphere. There were song and dance number
from the residents and also our students gave a very heartwarming
presentation to those present.

Various alumni association headed by our dear President,
Dr. Alex Magalona was also present. We got the chance to experience
firsthand how it felt to be able to share with others on this special
occasion.

Indeed, the CDUAA is also an association that also deals
with the needs of others especially those who are less fortunate.
CDUAA brings back to our roots which is to serve others.

Sharing isn’t only for Christmas season but also a value that
should be done every day. So always remember that it’s better to give
than to receive. The Lord rewards us in ways we least expect and
more than what we expect.
