“Don’t mix business with pleasure,” one often says. But
during the Team Building of the officers of Cebu Doctors’ University
Alumni Association (CDUAA) last May 22, 2011 in Pacific Cebu Beach
Resort, they have become the exception.

The activity was a team-building and an outing rolled in
one. After a short activity that consisted of a prayer, parlor games
and breakfast, people then got ready and donned their best swimming
attire to get a splash in the swimming pool or in the beach; if one
prefers the latter than the former.

When lunch came, one can see the stronger closeness of
those who attended. They gathered around and talked about anything
and everything under the sun. An hour and a half pass twelve,
everyone readied themselves for the spun of the moment decision of
going aboard a boat and enjoy an island hopping trip. It was around
4:00 pm when the group returned to the resort from the thrilling trip
and an hour later called an end to a gruesome but fun day of mixing
business with pleasure.
